By accessing or using Cademi's website, products, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Cademi is an AI-powered learning platform that generates real-world project briefs, evaluates submitted deliverables, and issues verifiable competency certificates based on demonstrated skill rather than passive course completion.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using Cademi, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@cademi.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Certain features of Cademi require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
6. User Content and Submissions
You retain ownership of the deliverables and other content you submit to Cademi ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Cademi a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and analyze it for the purpose of providing AI assessment, feedback, and certification, and to improve our models in anonymized form.
7. AI-Generated Feedback and Certificates
Project briefs, feedback, scores, and certificates generated by Cademi's AI are provided for educational and professional development purposes. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated assessments may contain errors, and Cademi makes no guarantee of employment outcomes or third-party recognition of any certificate issued.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting plagiarized or fraudulent work, attempting to circumvent AI assessment systems, reverse-engineering the platform, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, software, and platform content provided by Cademi, excluding User Content, are the property of Cademi Technologies Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Cademi does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated assessments will be entirely accurate.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cademi Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
